ServiceChai was founded in the year 2018 with the vision of providing multichannel customer care support to businesses in Bangladesh and international markets across various industries. We use innovation in technology coupled with rigorous processes to enable organisations deliver the best customer experience and capture greater market share within their industries. 


In our journey of just over two years we have helped brands increase their sales, generated better leads, improved customer satisfaction and identified valuable customer insights. In addition to outsourced call center services we manage social media platforms, create all kinds of original content and run online marketing campaigns for businesses to generate more leads.

Our team of customer care call center agents are highly experienced and skilled in communication and telemarketing. Our foreign processes are handled by a separate team who have worked majorly with clients based in US & UK and are both fluent in English and Bengali. 


Our management team who are leading these processes and ensuring client success have extensive knowledge in the telecommunication infrastructure, technology products, customer care, sales & digital marketing. 


Rafiq Ahmed: Chairman & Co-Founder: Rafiq is an entrepreneur and early stage technology investor in Dhaka and Chicago. He is Managing Director at Dipalo Ventures and a partner in several early stage venture funds and angel syndicates. Rafiq co-founded the storytelling app platform Demibooks, which was later acquired by Education Development Corporation.   His management consultancy and product innovation experience spans decades at PwC, Publicis Sapient, Fannie Mae and Motorola. Rafiq has an MBA and studied Computer Science at Virginia Tech, and received a BS in Electrical Engineering from WV Wesleyan.


Junaid Rahman:
Co-Founder & Managing Director: Junaid is Managing Director at ServiceChai and SM Communications, and a Director of a number of companies ranging from Securex to co-working startup Shuru Campus. He has a wealth of experience building and operating customer-focused businesses in Canada and Bangladesh. His industry experience includes telecommunications, security, garments, restaurants and real estate. Junaid studied Economics at Brown University.

Asheq Samad, Co-Founder: Asheq brings broad expertise in software systems and products. He has 20+ years of experience including top Management Consulting firms (Anderson, Ernst & Young), followed by management roles at Verizon, the U.S. Telecom and Cable Video provider. Prior to co-founding ServiceChai, he co-founded and launched Bengal Meat in Bangladesh. Asheq has a M.S. in Computer Science and B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Texas in Arlington.

Naureen Shafinaz Mahboob: Head, Business Development

7 years of experience working in Marketing, Business development & Brand communications. Specializes in business growth & project management across several industries in Bangladesh. Naureen has a degree in Management and Marketing from University of Lancaster, UK. and MSc in HRM & Management Consulting from University of Bath, UK.

Zavid Iqbal: Head, Operations

Over 7 years of experience in customer care management sector & telecommunication in Bangladesh. Specializes in various call center operational activities, analytics and growth strategies. Worked with various start-up projects, campaign management, training & learning activities as a supervisor, mentor, and quality analyst.

Masum Faruque: Head, Technology

Over 15 years of experience in the Bangladesh telecommunication and IT sector. Specializes in call center technology, telecommunication structure & international VOIP (voice over internet protocol) services.
